None of the supplements contained in the Ultimate Body Cleanse are contraindicated while taking a blood thinner. However, those on a blood thinning medication that has a dietary interaction (ex. Warfarin/Coumadin) must keep the diet protocol of the cleanse in mind. Warfarin/Coumadin require an individual to have a consistent vitamin K intake while taking the medication. Many of the vegetables that are promoted during the cleanse contain high levels of vitamin K. If the individual plans on changing the amount of vitamin K they consume while doing the cleanse, they must have a discussion with their doctor. The doctor may need to adjust the individual's blood thinning medication dose.
